I am sure we all agree that our God is Big and Strong and Mighty. However, in our times of weakness, discouragement, warfare, failing faith, tragedy, fear, frustration, etc. we seem to forget just how Big, Powerful, Loving and Compassionate He truly is. During these trying and uncertain times, we have to be careful not to murmur, mumble or complain.
If not for His Grace and Mercy, some of us would have already been consumed with the issues of life. We must understand that we serve a True and Living God Who has given us a True and Living Word. This Word speaks life to our situations and breathes life into our Spirit.
In order to develop a NEVERTHELESS PRAISE, we have to stand on, declare and proclaim this Word over our lives in season and out of season.
The following scriptures speak to the nature of God, His promises and our security.
"Gracious is the Lord, and righteous: yea, our God is merciful."
Psalm 111: 4, 5
“He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the Lord is gracious and full of compassion. He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.”
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
“The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.”
“Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.
“I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”
"O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.”
“The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.”
"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."
"I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety."
"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."
Develop a NEVERTHELESS PRAISE before the situation occurs. It will help you stay focused as you battle your storm.
